This Second Marketing LLC is a marketing agency that specializes in leveraging the Second Life platform to empower brands to engage audiences in a compelling and super engaging way. We are all residents of Second Life and have passion and respect for what it provides today and will become in the future. Joni West (SL Identity: Joni Rich) - Joni "grew up" in the event marketing and communications industry. She started in the production side of the business as a photographer, creative director and producer and later developed into an account executive, lead client partner and new business development expert. Her 20+ years of brand marketing experience across all major categories and media, the quality of her work and her dedication to her business relationships have empowered Joni to confidently embark upon creating and establishing This Second Marketing LLC. She believes our agency is poised and prepared to empower brand marketing in truly innovative new ways to the delight of Second Life residents, consumers everywhere and the brand team itself! Joni started hearing about Second Life early in 2006 and signed up, as Joni Rich, her avatar. "At first, I thought it would be an interesting place to have an art gallery. It would be an entirely new way for people all around the world to be able to see my art and actually buy copies of it for their virtual homes! Once I started exploring around Second Life, I realized that this was the start of something far greater than I had previously thought. I see Second Life as the start of the next big phase of the web. I envision a time, in the not too distant future, when everyone who uses the internet will have an avatar and 3-dimensional environments will be standard online. I knew that I wanted to share this exciting metaverse and all of its possibilities with everyone I know both professionally and personally. This Second Marketing LLC is the agency born of my desire to explore, experience, experiment and share the metaverse called Second Life.
